Our April meeting was the scene for the 2008 Shimpaku Giveaway. The club purchased 25 shimpakus from our good friends at Bonsai Northshore and gave them away to paid members. Robert Reed gave a short lecture on the species. Jim Osborne gave the pre-meeting "Bonsai Basics" this month on "Pests."
